Stucco is a form of render applied wet over a surface (mainly masonry or concrete) using an aggregate, cement, lime and water and hardens to a dense and solid finish. Stucco finishes come in many forms, uses of small stones such as 4-5 millimeters are mixed up to 12 millimeters for a more pronounced and textured look.
It is used as decorative coating for walls and ceilings and as a sculptural and artistic material in architecture. Stucco may be used to cover less visually appealing construction materials such as concrete, concrete blocks or clay bricks.
